Hi there. I am 26. French by birth. European by heart. I work with a small communication and branding agency in Copenhagen, Denmark, where I have landed in august 2003.
Aside from my work I try to write the final pages of my master thesis at the local B-school, a place where, to my great satisfaction, I have heard more often about Derrida & Bourdieu than Kotler or Porter. I guess this may be the reason why the paper moderately deals with marketing and branding theory while, I am concerned, it ambitions to address something more elusive and indeterminate. Hmm, let’s say for now that it navigates at the crossroad of identity issues, places/space and discourses in relation to marketing as both a practice and a theoretical field.
I would like this weblog to be both an opportunity to explicit, develop, articulate and defend my thoughts as well as to engage in fruitful discussions with those of you interested. Whether you share my views or wholeheartedly dismiss them, never hesitate to voice your point of view. The name of this weblog has been ironically inspired by friends’ remark regarding a certain personal ability to disagree with anything that others say in any occasion. I have to say that I do not completely agree with their view though. ;-)
As I have always been curious (i.e. undisciplined), I have no exclusive in terms of interest areas and wish to prolong that plurality here. Let see whether this gets us somewhere…
